Popcorn Sales

Pack 328 does one major fundraiser every year by participating in the BSA fundraising campaign selling Trails End popcorn. This occurs during the fall, starting with Show-and-Sell opportunities and ending with delivery of the ordered popcorn in mid-November.

We use the funds to support various Pack activities including, but not limited to

  • Blue and Gold Banquet
  • Activity costs for Scout (such as a pack activity to a climbing gym or archery range)
  • Pinewood Derby
  • Patches and Awards

Our Pack gets a percentage of the sales of the popcorn. The percentage we get depends on our volume of sales, so the participation of all Scouts is critical to our success.

Show-and-Sell is having popcorn for sale and a location. We are working up locations for Show-and-Sell and will be sending out details via Scoutbook.

One or two Den meetings during the month of October will be for the pack to go door-to-door in their assigned neighborhood of Trophy Club. We recommend this is the only door-to-door selling your Scout does. Outside of this activity, we suggest only soliciting with those your Scout already knows. You can also set up an online account for your Scout to sell to family and friends that are out of our local area. Visit {insert hyperlink here} to set this up.

The goal is for each cub scout in the pack to sell $450. Each Scout that meets their individual goal gets to throw a pie in the face of the cubmaster. There will also be a special prize for top sellers. There are also prize levels from the Council/Trails End based on the amount of sales your Scout has. Please see your popcorn packet for more details on available prizes.
